The smokers like nicotine very much and they believe that they cannot keep away from using that. It is what is called as physiological addiction. If smoking is a physiological addiction, why it is not irritating you while you sleep? It’s a serious question to be discussed.
There are people who collect cigarettes, according to the length of their journey. They first of all concentrate on acquiring that, instead of packing up any of their belongings. There is nothing impossible to stop, if we try with true heart and determination.

that is a valid point on the physiological addiction of cigarettes, however, let me make a counter-point:
There is no doubt that chemical dependency is a physiological addiction correct? (ie. someone who is addicted to a narcotic like cocaine becomes physically dependant on it) I have known drug addicts to still be able to sleep at night. Personally i still believe that nicotine/cigarette addiction is physiological. It is largely psychological too. I think it can be both

I think the initial post was spam to make us check the link, but regardless of that:
Nicotine is addictive. It's not about "liking" or not. Smokers who don't smoke for several days feel intense, more tired, their heart pulsates faster, their mood changes to worse; it is not easy to quit. Of course it is even more difficult to quit when you combine smoking with daily activities (after dinner/coffee/film/on the phone/when you are at your computer) as smoking in these cases is more habitual than necessary. Quitting requires a lot of will and patience and it is possible to quit just because you want to (if you want to enough), but it is nothing physically easy to do.
When I'm thirsty or hungry while asleep I don't wake up in the middle of the night, I find out when I wake up.
People begin using alcohol and/or drugs for a variety of reasons. They may use them because they feel depressed, anxious, sad, lonely or to create courage, excitement, to socialize, celebrate etc.
The alcoholic/addict is no different in this respect and an association is established in the minds of most drinkers and users that alcohol/drugs = pleasure/relief.
This is usually reinforced by some enjoyable experiences connected with drinking/using and by the social acceptability of alcohol, and of drugs within youth and other sub-cultures.
However, while the majority of people can use alcohol without becoming chemically dependent upon it, (and a tiny minority can use some drugs occasionally without becoming hooked), alcoholics/addicts are biologically different from other people.
Their chemical make-up is different, so that sooner or later they become physically dependent on the substance. This may result from genetic inheritance, or from regular drinking/using whereby their body chemistry undergoes a qualitative change and their bodies can no longer live without alcohol and/or drugs.
