Smile Non Hodgkins Lymphoma

Hello my name is Jamie, i'm 34 y/o, and i was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma (bcell) about 3 weeks ago. I'm looking for other women that have NHL or women that are suffering from any sort of cancer.
i'm currently waiting to hear from my doctor to go over the results of my pelvic ultra sound, something was said about complex ovarian cysts so i am concerned about that too. If anyone is interested in talking with me, i'll be happy to go into detail about how i was diagnosed with NHL, i'm pretty open. just looking for friends and support.

Default lymphoma

Hi Jamie, I have recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. I posted under one of your other posts too. My doctor thinks it could be NHL and i would love to chat and be of support to you, if i am able too.

I am only 27yrs old and i have 4 daughters. I saw my nan battle throat cancer, bowel cancer, crohns disease and non hodgkins lymphoma and it wasn't pretty. I am scared out of my wits at what the outcome might be.

Thankfully my GP thinks that we have caught it early. I have done my research on lymphoma and its rather scary. I am trying to stay positive but at times i feel like breaking down and crying. I am thankful for the distraction that my beautiful daughters and husband give me.

If you want to email me you can get me on...

Take care.

Well let me just tell you that for the past year I have had a lump in my groin that does not really move around and its hard. Its tender but it really I think is causing pain down my leg - almost like a throbbing sensation. I also have a slight rash, itchy skin, I am tired, etc. I am not saying that I 100% feel like I have this but I am so scared of having something. Of course I worry about the HIV things as well. I had a test done over a year ago and it was fine but when I look things up its also brings up that. Why would I have this lump in my groin fpr over a year. I have taken antibiotics and it does not go away with that. I dont know what to think.

I am a stay at home mom with 2 young sons and I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma 1 year ago. It was the most frightening experience of my life. I didn't want to go to the doctor either, I was frightened by what they would tell me I had such a weird combination of symptoms. As scary as it was it was actually less scary to know what was wrong and that we could fight it. I had six cycles of R-CHOP (chemo) and 22 radiation sessions. I have been in remission since October, Happy Halloween I had a clean PET scan after four cycles. I can tell you there is life after diagnosis. There is life during and after treatment. I am feeling stronger and almost back to my pre-sick self. I am more than happy to talk to anyone looking for support.
