Hey
Considering my mother has cervical cancer and ive had a period for 5 weeks, had discharge problems for a while(which i was first told was thrush and then bacterial vaginal infection) and have pain during sex (not alot but particularly when he goes further in). What are the chances of having cervical cancer?
Thank you

There is no cancer unless a DOCTOR says there is cancer. No bump, bruise, scratch, ache, pain, snap, crackle or pop, soreness, color, discharge, or any related bodily feeling is cancer unless a DOCTOR says there is cancer.

Cancer is far too complex to identify it just based on a couple symptoms. The symptoms are so often synonymous with other ailments and other issues. It sounds like you definitely need to see an OBGYN and talk about the things that are going on with you, in addition to the fact your mother has cervical cancer so that perhaps he/she can help to ease your mind. It's always better safe than sorry. But when it comes to something like cancer, never try to diagnose yourself or you will make yourself crazy.
