    Default Cervical Cancer?

    Hi I'm 16 years old and I was concerned about a bump I found..
    Well I noticed a bump just beside my cervix, not so much on but beside.

    I've looked it up and alot of people have talked about the bumps being above or on cervix so I drew this to kind of show what I mean..

    Other things that people have said is how it could be an cyst.
    But if so how does it go away?.. :s

    Anyways, its about the size of a pea ishh, and its smooth.
    Its not really hard but not super soft. It also doesn't hurt to the touch nor does it bother me..
    I had just noticed this now.. but I haven't had sex.
    I have also had the HPV shot too, butyeah.
    I will have it checked but right now I've been too busy with family issues.

    My mom just found out that she has cervical cancer too.. so I was worried because of of the bump that maybe I have it too?..

    If anyone has anything to help please do! Also if anyone else has gone through this was the case similar to mine?

    Image shack is fine as a link there's no graffics ( just so people know as links are not allowed)

    Did you "feel this only?" and come to that conclusion?

    You really have to see a Doctor, it could be a cyst, a wart, anything...

    I am sorry about your Mother but cervical cancer if caught early can be managed easily..

    One thing I would like to state to you? Never, ever, be too busy when your body tells you something seek the answer, waiting or putting it off, we as women have intution for a reason.... Putting things off can make things worse.

    It is more likely a cyst but please go and check it out if your Mom has Cervical Cancer, remember it is also hereditory.
