Thumbs up Miracles do happen!!!

I am writing this to share and to offer hope for those dealing w/ cervical cancer.

I am sooooo doing the happy dance!!! I got a call back from the doc and she said BOTH tests came back perfectly NORMAL!!!!! No abnormal cells at all. This is an answer to prayer b/c as you know since I had the surgery in Nov. there were still some cancerous cells and the doc wanted me to undergo more treatment and I said - no I'm not able to handle that right now mentally, physically, or emotionally. We kept talking about options, etc. I kept saying the tests just HAVE to come back normal. Period. And they did!!! Of course, I was praying my butt off, and taking care of myself - trying as much as is possible right now to be stress free, and resting, taking vit., having hope against all hope, so hard to be positive but still trying, etc. Thank you God!!!!!!

I can't tell you the relief it is to have this off my mind. Now, technically to be considered "officially" free from cancer I have to have 3 normal tests in a row. I go back again in May. I go every 3 months for tests for a year to be considered "cured." I'll take this, though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx for your wonderful support! ~hugs~

Good for you, i can feel your joy and whoopeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, i also went for that test, in 2002 and had second degree at 39 years of age.

Funny story as you can, it's a frighening thing.

The Doctors that did all the biopsys etc were horrid, they hurt like hell, i cried like hell.

They ... stuf....d up.

But this gynocologist that did his magic and burnt it all away, i was telling him how i am so scared of needles and how i am convinced i died in a previous life from them, was at that time, having numbed me, putting in a needle.

He told me after... and apparently he was shirting himself he'd be busted but he chatted away and i never knew and we got through it.

The other funny side, as i try also to be "stress free" is that i apparently moved my but of the table whilst he was trying to do this so high out of fear, but at least that allowed him to find where he needed to go.

Congratulations..............................xx
