Default possible cancer

I posted this into a different forum so if that one could be deleted by the big WH people it'd be appreciated

I found a lump under my boyfriends chin/neck area! We done some research and it turns out he's got all the possible symptoms of a type of cancer

indigestion and having trouble swollowing is one
fever
headaches
goin to the toilet alot
unexpected pain or ache
unexpected weight change
itchy genitles

It's probably us just worrying too much but...what if it is?
Im only young but I've still lost a few people to cancer before so I know what'll happen if the worst comes to worst

How do you deal with something like this? Ive never loved anyone as much as I love him and I honestly dont know how I could live without him!

Have any of you's gone through this? I'll need your help because I wont cope

how long has it been there?

Are you sure it's not a lymph node???

Mine swell up for no reason sometimes and it ussually feels like a roundish lump, they're all over your neck area, and under the chin.

Hello you.

Firstly, don't take "googling" as to be the answer, because if you googled something else, some of those same symptons would come up, for a different problem.

Secondly, any lump should be sought out by a Doctor immediately, because if it was to be the worse scenario, a little operation should clear the problem up immediately, but leaving it would cause more problems.

And, thirdly off course we are here for you, what do you think?

I have had several lumps, and have had them checked and there were "stress" related lymphoids..

The guy that I was seeing from England? Remember him? He had a small lump and had it removed and is fine, ( pitty his brain isn't) haha. Sorry...

Just relax and take a deep breath, make an appointment, be by his side, and see what the situation is...

Remember, the things we can see is usually our body giving us warning and helping us, it's the things we can't see that we should fear more so.

Take care and let us know.

There is most likely a greater probability that your boyfriend doesn't have cancer. However, as a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I know how scary this can be! My best advice is that if he has these lumps for more than a few weeks, he should get them checked out asap. I have heard that if lumps are soft and spongey, that usually means they are just swollen due to an infection/cold. Don't freak too much until after you've seen a doc...and stop googling...it will just make things worse...trust me!
