Question What just happened? Do i still need him?

i dated this guy for about 7 months, we broke up in July but we are still good friends. Occasionally, i would miss him and we would hang out and or talk. and have a good time. Well, i was on my Facebook tonight and i saw he had changed his relationship status to "in a relationship". I flipped out. I get a little jealous but its usually nothing but an annoying twinge. but i was honestly upset, i wanted to cry (which is extremely abnormal for me). The reason i had broken up with him is bc i became bored, i think and a little frusterated. he lost 2 jobs in the short time i was with him and i ended up buying or bringing him food so he wouldnt go hungry, giving him gas money so he could go to school, and when he was in need of anything i was there to help. but he never helped me, of course i didnt need any help so its understand able but still frustrating to me. i just dont understand why im so upset. do i still love him? i was very happy while i was with him, even close to the end, and i have not been as happy since. what's going on?

In my opinion? You were "happy" about having a relationship and like everyone who then goes it alone, lonliness creeps in.

You have to remember "why" you broke it off...

He used you, took advantage of you "willingingly or just selfishly" that's what he did, no consideration, thank you, a flower from someone's garden, cuddles and walks along the beach, things that didn't cost money to show you his love, didn't happen.

He more than likely is now, doing the exact same thing. In-fact I'm betting on it - July - October .. Think about it and feel sorry for her. It won't last long..

Your lucky you had the guts to realise what you want and to do something about it, by leaving....

You didn't settle.

And, for that feel proud.

Now get out there and mingle more and find someone who will look after you and you him...

Be grateful and smile...
