    Talking Fun Winter Date Ideas?

So the new man and I are heading into date number 4 soon. We've got to actually do some studying on Sunday but I was also looking for some fun winter date ideas. They can be cheaper, or a bit more expensive, whatever.

I am cooking dinner next weekend, then the following weekend we are going to see a play. Any new and different suggestions? I wanted to maybe put a list of ideas together and I'm at a loss

I'd like them to be a variety of fun ways to get to know each other if possible. We know the chemistry is there, but looking for some different ways to kind of get out there and find out more about one another as well.

    Thanks

Just sharing what my husband and I did when we were in that stage, and will still keep doing now and forever...

    1. cooking a new recipe together, then dine at home
    2. played board games, i.e. Twixt, scrabble, risk
    3. watched movies while wrapped in a blanket (by the fire - no sex)
    4. workout together
    5. find a favorite place to hang out to play darts and/or billiards
    6. jazz bar (live music)
    7. visit some of his friends/my friends (we did this later in the relationship)
    8. symphony, opera, theatre performance
    9. cycling on a tandem or single rides (if not too cold)
    10. just drove around early in the morning while the streets were unplowed and still packed with snow, taking pictures or just being silly together
    11. snow ball fight

not sure how cold it is and how much snow you have, but...

Sledding or ice skating followed by a break sitting in the snow sharing a thermos of hot chocolate..

I've done this with my boyfriend a few times and we always have such a great time together.

Maybe we'll try that too, KM.

Dinner at a restaraunt neither of you have tried, better yet if its a food neither have you have eaten, to experience it together and whether you love it or make faces at it, you'll have a good time.

Iceskating (whether or not your good at isn't important! )

    Bowling

Trivia or Karaoke night at a small bar

A long walk in an indoor mall, just window shopping and stretching your legs if its too cold for a long walk outside.

Play a video game together, or a board game or cards, chess etc...

Rent a movie , make him watch your favorite or let him show you his :P

Seconded! My boyfriend and I do this on a regular basis. It's cheap and a lot of fun.

I agree with the sledding, it is so FUN!

Depending on what is around you, you can go snowshoeing, cross country skiing, just going out and hiking/walking in the cold is fun, holding hands, talking, with your noses turning red. Bring hot chocolate, some snacks.

Building a snowman, snow ball fights, like HD said, ice skating...

If you want to stay indoors, go bowling, play games (uno, scrabble, etc). Cook a meal together, something neither of you have cooked before (have a backup ready to eat just in case).
