Ok so I'm brand new to this web site and after reading some of the posts I decided to ask a question myself. I have been in the USAF for a year and a half now. Before I came into Active Duty I was very much into long term relationships(I actually had a long distance one while I was in Boot); however due to my long duty hours, college schedule and the possibility of being deployed downrange it has made it increasingly difficult for me to maintain long term relationships. I have probably dated over 30 girls from around the area since ive been stationed here and they have all been very good experiences but it seems like the longest they last is a month or two and then it usually falls apart due to the fact I dont have very much time ti put into the relationship. Should I just stick to short term relationships until i get out of my active duty commitment or should I wait patiently for "the right one"? I'm pretty charismatic and I do well with women but it seems like thats not enough now for my time constraints. I appreciate any advice i can get .

It sounds to me like you are looking to hard for a long term relationship. Every time I have gotten into one I was looking for anything else but a relationship. When the right person comes along, it won't be hard to make time for her. Don't give up you carrer commitments before you find someone. Just let it happen and enjoy the time that you have while still single! I have been married for three years now and I almost miss that single life and short term relationships. It can be really fun at times!
