My boyfriend isn't the romantic type of guy.. But he will definitely show me how much he cares through actions rather through words. Like today I got pummeled by waves at the beach during high tide and I was feeling really crappy when we got home. And after I showered I laid down for a bit to give my aching muscles a rest. And in no crude or sexual fashion he comes in, holds me, pulls off my shorts, and checks if I've gotten all the sand out of places that.. well, when you're pummeled by waves all day and then deposited onto the shore, sand can get in some pretty interesting places. And he said he found some in and around my sphincter and that he didn't want it going inside me and didn't want me hurting myself the next time I wiped, so he removed the grains by touching the tip of his tongue to my muscle. I've never had anything of that kind done to me before, and so caringly.. I feel like the only person who'd ever look at my genitals to check if something was wrong is probably my mother and a doctor because they had to, you know?

Okay, so I'm vegan. Although I can usually find something to eat at restaurants, obviously some places are easier than others...
My bf surprised me last night by taking me to nice restaurant that had specially labeled "vegan" items on the menu. All he told me was "dress nice." So, as we're eating, I mentioned that it was a trendy area we were in, we've been to one other restaurant around there that had a lot of options for me, so I bet a lot of the restaurants down there would have stuff for me, we should look into it. I went on to say that there is some kind of ice cream or cupcake place around there that has vegan stuff, I'd heard of it, but never really looked into it. He says, "Yep. It's called Scoops, and we're going there next." I actually got a little tear in my eye, I was so impressed with him!

What a darling! We are constantly looking for the vegan in life, actually looking into starting a business based on vegan products because there is so little out there that is easily accessible

SHOE ON THE OTHER FOOT! Sorry..hope this isn't a hijack of the thread. BUT my wife did something for me that was just too wonderful not to "share".. I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident July 18,2010. Totaled my motorcycle and sent me to 3 days R&R in the local ICU. Month later i am still "healing" but basically "up and around, back at work" etc.... I come home to have my wife tell me I should get her a tool out of the garage. For reasons unspecified; she can't/won't go get it herself. I walk out to find a motorcyle of the same type/;model as I has "crashed" in the garage. Only 7K miles on it. She said i looked "sad" with no bike in the garage that was "mine". ANYONE NOT GET WHY I LOVE THIS WOMAN?
