So what has your man done that was romantic, or a nice surprise, etc. for you lately?

I'll start. Last weekend I was visiting a friend out of state, and my bf had an Edible Arrangement (fruit made to look like a flower arrangement) sent to her house for me! It was a great surprise and I loved his thoughtfulness. The fruit was really good too

    Post your stories!!

I only wish my boyfriend would do romantic things for me :-(

Not sure if this is appropriate...but Sunday was my wife's birthday. She woke to a cup of rick dark coffee with hazelnut and vanilla syrup. On her nightstand was also a
"giftbag' from a local jewelry store that held a set of pearls (necklace, earings and braclet- pink- she liked them when we were picking up the black ones she got for valentines' day- not real expensive ones so she could /would wear them when riding her Motorcycle (trike actually). The "kids" (daughter and her boyfriend) were waiting we had breakfast- I cooked. Then took a ride up into S. Colorado and stopped at a "barbeque joint" in Durango; where several friends met us. Then Back to our home in NM for coffee and Birthday cake. ( little rough and ready but OK in the "romance" dept?)

These are not lately, but the ones that stick out in my mind the most.

This is kind of corny, but cute. A few years ago we were going through everything in the house when we were moving across country. I had found both the outfits that we brought each of our boys home in. They were in a box in the back of the closet. I wasn't sure what to do with them, so left them in the box and moved on. Unbeknownst to me, my hubby took those outfits and caps and took the boys to the mall a few weeks later. They went to Build A Bear (a place where you stuff your own bears) and they each built a bear that had the same or close to the same color of fur as their own hair. Well, they put their coming home outfits on their bears and brought them home to me, lol. My hubby bought a basket and put their first receiving blankets in the basket with the bears. They are totally cute and the basket and bears sit on a cabinet in our bedroom.

That's definitely the most creative thing he's ever done.

When we were 18, well, I was 17. I was leaving to go to Europe for the summer, a couple of days before I left, he came by my house and asked if I could go for a drive with him. We hopped in his car and drove about an hour out to a canyon that we always went to. When we stopped he grabbed a blanket and a cooler of food from the car and we went for a walk for a bit. He put down the blanket and we ate, then he pulls out this cute little promise ring and gave it to me. Told me he loved me and would love me forever. I melted and we had sex in the woods the rest of the day on the blanket. lol

I think that is definitely one of the sweetest things he's ever done. Not bad for as young as we were, lol. I don't think being romantic is really big on the list of things to do at 18.

    Default small, but nice :)

I'm having horrible hot flashes, especially at night, so I keep a fan in front of the window going full throttle (I don't use a/c). My fiance sleeps on the side with the fan, and the other night I kept waking up and waking up with flashes, and finally woke my fiance and asked him to change sides with me.

No back talk, no 'I'm hot, too,' or any other such nonsense - he simply jumped out of bed and said (with much enthusiasm for the middle of the night!) "Absolutely!" And he comes over to my side and lets me slide over to his.

To me, his willingness to always help and support me is romantic as all get-out!

I was at work a few weeks ago, and i had been sat in one of the meeting rooms doin a presentation i had a phone call asking me to go back to my desk as they needed help with something, i thought this was very strange but i went back tomy desk, there was a huge bunch of flowers on my desk, i was shocked and said who are they for, my friend said look at the card, it said my name on it i nearly cried i was that happy. i took the card out of the little envelope and it said Princess (as that is what he calls me) thankyou and i do apprechiate everything you do for me love adam. it was totally unexpected and i loved it.

Also when it was my brithday he was working away we was up talking on Facebook and we noticed it was after 12 so i sent him a message sayinh whooohoo its my birthday, he told me to look in the chest of draws in our room in the thrid draw down there was a birthday card in the draw with a disney princess book this was very touvhin as he had told me he wanted to wait till he got back from working the day after my birthday to give me my card and prezi as we was goin away for the weekend. then while i was out that day he had arranged his mum to come round and decorate the flat with flowers baloons and lots of nice things for me with prezis was the best brithday suproze eva

He also once came home from work on night it was 2am (as he works on the roads) he rang my phone and said that he had forgot his key so i got out of bed to let him in and as i opend the door he was stood there with a bunch of flowers. there was no reason for them he just wanted to suproze me. he hadnt forgot his key either

Aww, some nice stories!! It's great to see some sweetness out there! Keep 'em coming!

A couple of my favorite memories are 1) When he showed up and surprised me completely unexpectedly once
2)When we got back from a night out at the theater, dressed up, he put in a CD and we slow danced in my living room

I also loved when he stuck a note in my lunch to say I love you once.

Yesterday, I showed up at his place, crabby because I had missed his exit and had to go way out of my way to get there... and I see one of those giant cupcake pans sitting on the counter. I look at it, and look at him, and he says, "Well, it isn't for me!" Yay! We had seen a commercial for that on TV months ago, and I thought it was cool - even though he thought it was dumb. But he saw it at the store this week and bought it for me because he knew I would like it
