Being in a relationship doesn't mean you get acknowledgement of any holidays or anniversaries. Here in the US I don't think anyone does much for Sweetest Day. Do something nice for yourself.

Hey all. I am feeling a little lonely today being that it is sweetest day and everyone i know is married/has a bf. I am single for the first time in my life on sweestest day.It's sad sitting by myself on sweetest day. On tips on how to feel not so alonethanks.

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
Never heard of sweetest day.
And WC is right, I dated a guy for 6 years, we lived together, he wanted to have kids...etc.....and he never once got me anything for valentines day or my birthday. So just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean anyone is going to do anything nice for you.
I don't even have a clue what sweetest day is, is it even a US holiday... Valentine's day is enough to drive me nuts with its over commercialization.

It's one of those over-commercialized holidays to tell how much you love your SO.
