Sorry, I have to agree with everyone here. If he was really interested, he definitely would not have forgotten. And the fact he forgot not only about the date but also could not even recall what you two talked about doing is even more of a red flag! Guys who are seriously interested in a girl do not just "forget." Also, he did not seem very apologetic or taking responsibility for his brain lapse. Sounds like he came up with excuses for himself instead of trying to imagine how you felt about this.
"Look both ways before you cross the street"
Remove him from your Facebook again, and forget about him. If he's already causing you trouble after the first date chances are he will cause you even more trouble in the future. Not worth it.
