Some months back my boyfriend visited me in school...coincidentally i had a house issue and i sincerely don't like being alone in time of crises.Well i begged him to stay later than the time he planned on staying so we could go on house hunting together, i actually went on my knees in tears pleading he stayed a little longer but he insisted he had to go cos he had things to do back home shunning my tears! He had taken a leave at work before coming to see,so it wasn't like he was going back to work...i think i remember him saying he had to attend a family meeting...but is that enough to leave me all alone feeling deserted??
I rarely cry,i had never cried in his presence before that very day.It did hurt me that he was not moved by my tears and ever since i have been thinking if he still cares....

Possibly the emotional outburst caught him by surprise. Getting on your knees and crying sounds a bit intense - often these things can be a turn-off. In the past I've tried to get my way by crying to my boyfriend, but it only made me appear a bit like a spoiled and unstable person. You know what I mean? Level-headed discussions are usually the way to go. I don't know what he's feeling for you now - why don't you contact him and ask?

Most guys that I know HATE when a woman cries and their reactions to it varies... some men cave to the mere hint of tears just so they don't have to deal with it, while others get irritated, angry and feel as though they are being manipulated, some men avoid it at all costs and go the other way.
How long have you two been together? You stated that you have never cried in his presence prior to that day and maybe he just really didn't know how to deal with it.
I know I am not easily manipulated by tears and unless the situation is one that I feel warrants tears I don't have much sympathy for those that cry at the drop of a hat. If the situation is one that in my opinion warrants tears then I am compassionate towards the person and the situation but I have known way to many people in my lifetime that use tears to get whatever it is they are wanting and instead of sympathizing with them I get angry that they think they can work me like that.
Have you ever been around when someone he cares about was crying? (like Mom, sister, aunt, grandma) If so, how did he react to it?

You say "some months ago".... And, inform us of a situation that occured then... So, what's been occuring over the last few months? This is somewhat very long distance? That was the last time you saw him? What about phone calls, text messages, etc since then....
Do we not realise that in order to find a soul
    It doesn't happen over night
