Hello by the way im new! But anyway my boyfriend and i have been going out for a little over three months but i really think that he is the one. We are young but we always talk about moving in together and getting married and having kids one day. We even know what we want to name our children and what kind of dog that we want. Our life is amazing right now and i don't know how it could be getting any better. But here is the thing, he lives with his dad and his brother and I get along very well with the both of them. But this weekend we are going to visit his mom and I would like to have some advice from some mothers with sons who bring there girlfriends home. I am usually great with parents but i am a bit nervous. So please help!

You should thank God you are not comming to meet my mother. I am the oldest of 4 boys and my mother was a horror with girlfriends. The only one she hit it off with was my 2nd brother's now wife, she was of the same religion, goody girl.

Anyways, my mother and now my wife did not speak for a year, however my wife is now my mother's closest friend.

please wait before jumping the gun and getting married. I'm sure you two are having an amazing time and all caught up in each other, but it takes time to really get to know each other's qirks and idiosycrocies. Looking back at what my friends and I have done, instead of waiting nine months (mind out of the gutter people), I'd look to have waited 2 or 3 years. If he's the one, it'll be worth the wait!
