Running = bulky legs?

Hi there,

I need to lose 4-6 stubborn pounds.
I've started running again - about 3 weeks ago. I walk 30 mins, then run 30mins (at about 8miles/hr) 5-6 days a week. All that I have noticed is bulkier legs.. could this be fluid retention from running? I have been eating the same (1200-1400 calories and all healthy) and my jeans are fitting tighter! Should I go back to just walking instead? The scales havent budged (up or down) I feel that I had leaner legs then... but was burning less calories?

So confused...

Thanks,

Jenna

Losing weight in hips/stomach, NOT boobs...?!

I'm sure this question has been asked to death... I've briefly combed the forums without finding this specific thread, so I decided to post this myself.

What's the best way to lose fat in the hips/stomach area without losing it elsewhere, specifically boobs? I'm about a 36B and would like to keep it that way, although tbh my breasts don't really change in size with changes in my weight, at least not that I've noticed... But I've gotten a little freaked out by everyone else saying that it happens. :p

Recently I've also started to appreciate my body for how it is, but with that appreciation I've found myself going a lil' more lenient on myself... I don't want to get completely lazy and then wake up one day and find I've turned into a whale.

Thanks!

Has anyone every gone to a Zumba class? The website looks like it could be a ton of fun and a great workout too! They are starting one up in my area and I'm thinking of joining...

Is it worth it?

Is it fun?

Do you actually get results from the class or is it more just for fun/movement?
