Finished BV treatment (gel), clumpy discharge?

Hello, I'm new!

I was recently diagnose with BV and was given intravaginal gel to treat it with. I finished the 5 day treatment on wednesday (last insertion was tuesday evening). I have noticed a little bit of clumpy, white discharge since then. It has decreased in frequency, I only notice it maybe once a day now when wiping. There is NO itching, NO burning, and the BV smell is gone.

I took probiotics while treating the BV (and I'm still taking them) and given the lack of itching/burning, I don't think it is a yeast infection. I have read that products like RepHresh (which balance vaginal pH) cause white, clumpy discharge because the vagina is getting rid of old cells.

My question is: could this discharge just be my body getting rid of dead/old cells due to the BV treatment? There is not a whole lot of it, and again, not itching or discomfort, but it does come in little clumps. Any ideas?

vaginal dysplasia WITH symptoms. help!

A week ago I got my biopsy results back and was diagnosed with mild vaginal dysplasia and given Aldara cream for 12 weeks to treat it.

The thing is, I have symptomatic dysplasia. It usually doesn't cause symptoms, but mine came with constant irritation/burning and a heavy yellow discharge. I've been using the Aldara for a week now and haven't noticed an improvement in my symptoms (supposedly it can take a few weeks to work, but I'm getting discouraged already...).

I'm looking for anyone out there who might be familiar with dysplasia that actually does cause symptoms. Everything I've read about it just says, "Usually symptoms aren't present" and I really want to find someone who's gone through what I'm going through to know there WILL be an end to this.

hey im 17 and have been sexually active for the last 4 or so months. Ever since last thursday probably i've been getting a burning feeling after i pee..sometimes very strong, almost like the feeling where you REALLY need to pee...feels like that but hurts. I've been getting that on and off since then. it was constant for a few days then died off and is not back again and i feel a mild burning sensation just in general now not just when peeing. I started trying tampons which i haven't really used before this last period and i also had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the monday and wednesday. We were both virgins before we had sex so i see no chance of STD's but still. Any suggestions? greatly appreciated

I'm fourteen, very young I know. I'm still a virgin, never done drugs, nothing of the sort. For about two years now Ive had excessive discharge. It's not constant. I don't always have it, but it's not suprising when I do have it. It comes randomly, not necessarily before I have my period. Is there a way I can prevent it? It dosen't cause me any pain or anything, just terribly uncomfortable. And it smells gross.

could i be pregnate or is it birth control pills?

Okay im 22. I was on seasonique with no periods until the last pack as supposed to but i started my period 5 days after starting the last row of pills and it only lasted a 3-4 days very light and brown colored with most of the time it was clear discharge so im not sure if this counts as a period.
Now after that last week of seasonique i started on Loestrin24. No periods so far and im only on the 2nd week.
My nipples are REALLY sore, i've been nauseous for a few weeks and thrown up twice (the first time i busted blood vessels all over my face due to the severity of it, im told that happens sometimes espically in pregnacy), i'm really tired, more discharge than usual and i've been breaking out like crazy. I'd like to know if i could be pregnate or just a side effect of the birth control pills. I was only on the seasonique for 3 months, before that it was FemconFe for 2 months, and before that Depo prevera for 3 years. The last time i had a regular period was the two on Femconfe (the minty chewable birth control pills). Please Help!

My doctor prescribed me Metronidazole Vaginal Gel and told me to use for 5 nights. I had sex 3 days after my last treatment with this and the day after I had sex, i experienced a little itching. How many days after my last treatment was i suppose to wait until I had sex? Also, if I experiece more itching, should I treat myself again? Any help about this would be great!! THANKS! :)

hi all , im new at this forum ,
im 30 years old female asian from taiwan and i am experiencing the following problems during sex with caucasian male bf:

- vaginal dryness
- ups and downs of sex drive
- painful sex (only some times)
- vaginal little constant bleeding
- cannot reach intercourse orgasm but only if clitoreidal stimulated

i have already experienced all of the described issues with my other 6 asian ex boyfriends except for painful sex and bleeding.

according to my bf this could be a problem related to a female hormone unbalancing, can you please post your opinion ? should i see a doctor ?

Catheter

Hi all

I have got an indwelling urinary catheter in (urethral) and have had bypassing (leakage around catheter) before and during my period particularly and wear protective underwear (pull-up pants for urinary incontinence) as this prevents me from getting wet. I am now not bypassing now my period has stopped and it seems it is something to do with my period and do not need to wear the pull-up pants until it happens again with my period.

Has anyone else had this?

Also, I have been recommended to have a suprapubic catheter for long-term to treat my urinary retention. I have heard that these can leak also.

Many thanks for any advice or experience anyone may be able to share.

Kind regards

Septate Hymen?

I just discovered something.. that I have a septate hymen. (A band of tissue stretching across the vaginal opening.)
Its gotten caught on my tampons a few times, but if I use a certain brand of tampons (they expand differently) I don't have this problem.
I always thought it was odd, but I never really thought anything about it. And since I've had sex, its gotten stretched out more and has never interfered with sex.
My question to you ladies out there... does anyone else have this hyman abnormality? If so, how do you deal with it? Should I bother bringing it up with my doctor, even though it has never bothered me?

I was reading about home remedies for yeast infections, and a couple of articles suggested yogurt tampons. It sounds weird. They said filling tampon applicators with yogurt and freezing them. Then when a yeast infection comes, insert the "tampon" just like you would with a regular tampon. I'm not planning on trying this any time soon. Was just curious if anyone has heard and/or tried this??
