Thread: Step-mom

Im dating a guy and he has a 6yr old daughter.Ive never met her because he always makes excuses everytime i ask him to bring her home.He never told me why they broke up with the girl's mom,he says its a painful story he has buried in the past & doesnt wanna bring it back.I suspect he might have done something he's ashamed of because by the time the baby was conceived he was addicted to marijuana.He went to rehab & cleaned up but still he wont tell me what made him addicted.Im living in a world of darkness because i dont know a lot about his past & the reason why he dont want his daughter to come over when im around.I dont have a clue of how the kid is going to react when she sees me because she has never seen daddy's girlfriend.What am i to expect & how could i make him open up to me because i want to make this work.

well, if he knows you are also dating someone else (from one of your previous posts), why would he want his daughter to meet you?
