    I agree... You are being WAY to hard on yourself. You were intoxicated. Nothing actually happened. Your daughter seems to be acting like a brat. (I'm sorry to say that but it's my true opinion) Does she not understand what happened or where you were in your life? If my mother did that I would be embarrassed at first but that would be it. I would never make her feel so bad. She needs to look at things through your eyes and see your point of view.

    Well it sounds like they have talked this through and resolved it. I'm always glad to know when people have dealt with things and moved on. Thank you, tiredmom, for letting us know how this turned out!

    It didnt break her heart. If it did, she wouldnt be talking about it. She wants you to remeber what you did, but she dont want you to metaforically die over it. It hurt her just as it is the thought of you loosing her. trust me I know.
