Thread: what would you do if you had perv parents

basically my dad is totally perverted! it's really disturbing... well not only that but i guess he's into trans stuff too?...i really don't know. it freaks me out. he goes into these newsgroup things on the computer and i see him looking up underage porn too! i had to use that computer today because it's the only one in my house with a printer on it, and the newsgroup program was open. i saw all kinds of subscriptions to trans, underage, etc. there must have been over 10 of them. not only that but i think he's going to thrift stores to get women's clothing also...i've seen clothing around the house that is not mine or my mom's and we're the only females in here! it kind of pisses me off...i mean what kind of environment is this for me and my mom!!!

she already knows about it...well i knew about it for a LONG time...not sure how long exactly, but i'm going to estimate AT LEAST 5 years. i found a pile of clothes hidden behind a bed and the wall in my house and i showed it to my mom a while back. she was disgusted! she got everything and threw it in trash bags. as far as what they've talked about i'm not really sure...we're not much of a communicating family, which is bad, i know. =\

what would you guys do? it's really freaking me out...and it's actually been going on for a while.

Well what you are describing sounds really wrong. Now if your dad was just into some kind of trans thing that's ok, whatever floats your boat, but he really shouldn't stay with your mother (it's like cheating on her) or expose you to it. Your mother should not put up with that. You should sit her down away from your father and talk to her about how uncomfortable this makes you and that you do NOT want to be around it. She should make all the arrangements to get you out of it. Maybe you could go live with an aunt or something while the two of them work it out, if she isn't willing to protect you, you might want to look up some kind of child services places or tell a trusted adult like a teacher or something to help you get out. SECONDLY... underage pornpgraphy IS a crime so if you're sure that's what is on his computer, you can totally call the cops on him if that's what needs to be done. I'm sorry this is your situation. You need to find a way out before something more dangerous happens
