My heart is breaking. I just want to wrap my arms around him and tell him he can't go. But I can't. He was over there for six months, been home for two weeks, and now he has to go back to finish his tour. He is scared and I can't help. I want to tell him that it will be okay. But, honestly, it might not. How do I stop crying? when I know he is being put in extreme danger and I might loose him? I hate this war.

I am sorry. I wish all our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, were home safe. All we can do for now is offer our love and support and hold them and their families in our hearts.

Cyndie, I wish there were no wars, or people had "choices" I can't imagine how your feeling..

Give him something that belongs to you, a piece of jewelery and tell him that whenever he feels scared, to hold it in his left hand, you'll be there.

I believe that if he believes that, that it will keep him calmer through all of this...

Take care of yourself , I'll pray..

(edit reply to in-considerate poster above)

I will keep you and your son in my prayers, along with the rest of the troops that are in harms way all around the world.
