Thread: Do you have maternal instinct??

Mush to say that even though, like me some of you hadn't wanted kids, when you did, they completely changed your lives.
Kristalyn, that's a really nice story about your brother, and you should feel very proud

I suppose maternal instinct was a wrong way to name this, because any mother has un-conditional love for their child/children.

I believe it depends on where you are in your life and what your circumstances are.

There are many 19 year olds that have found a career, have a partner that they've been with for years and have a child / children. Then, on the other hand, there are many 30 year olds that havent found their career or partner and have no desire for children. (That was a very basic stereotypical analysis by the way)

A year ago, I couldnt begin to comprehend starting a family. Now, I get all gooey when I see babies, I dream a LOT about being pregnant. Its partly to do with my age, I am at prime mating time haha, and its partly to do with being settled financially and emotionally.
