Who else has intense, curious kids?

My wife and I have a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl, and they are on level 10 (sometimes 11) from the minute they wake up to the minute they go to bed. Like any kids, they have their behavior issues, but they are very good for the most part.

The thing that makes them unique from most of the other kids that we meet is their intensity; they are constantly seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and information. They are rarely content with just being somewhere.

I know deep in my heart that this is a wonderful trait, but it is exhausting, and my wife and I often feel like we have a freak family because our kids are going non-stop and we are constantly having to manage that intensity. We swear people think we feed them nothing but sugar and caffeine, but neither of them drink any soda and they prefer grilled fish, veggies, and fruit to fried foods and hamburgers!

Can anybody relate to what I am describing?!

To the letter. I have two boys, 10 and 6, the loves of my life, but very very curious and smart. They are constantly on the go. I love listening to them and watching them. My 6 year old is just.... Funny, the stuff he says and thinks right now are priceless. They recently spent a few weeks with their grandparents in another state. I'm pretty sure my mom slept for a few days straight the moment we all got on the plane.

Luckily, I'm blessed because they are so well behaved and I know we are good parents, but yes, I understand, lol. I am always making sure I have enough stuff on hand to cater to their curiosity.
