One day my neighbor told me that teens like to share and send nude or semi-nude pictures by their cell phones. I worry about my boy would do the same thing so I am considering to install a*remove link - not allowed* to monitor him, but I don’t know if it is useful or not. does anyone use some mobile spy software before?

How old is your son ?

Depending on age, there are several types of phones that can keep you in touch with him, have him have an emergency phone to contact you or 911 or another family member.

Depending also on the maturity and responsibility of your son, you can get a phone that is just a Emergency type, one like a Go Phone, that you pay $20 every 90 days to refill the minutes ( used minutes or not ). That's less than $4 a month after the cost of the phone, which is about $20.

That is a Good one to start out with, There's no Camera or text Features to worry about.

Once he has Earned the Trust that he will not abuse the phone " PRIVILEGE " and yes it is a Privilege to have a Cell phone these days . You can always get one that has a Plan with it or add him to yours, though most plans requires a Credit Card and minutes can add up on your Bill, most also have a Contract to sign, 1-2 years with Penalties, unlike the prepaid type like Go Phone.

There are also phones that You can Control, incoming and outgoing and also that have a GPS. You can set it when and how long he can talk and to whom. These are fairly expensive and more for the wayward Teen who cannot be Trusted.
