I have so many friends here, in little Adelaide, I admire them, they work for their family, send money home, the lot but our generation can be different Stressed

I like the advice that has been posted. The important thing, I think, is to take her at her word - that she's sorry, didn't realize she was acting that way and that's not what she intended - and then just give your parents space and time to themselves now and again, and don't take it personally if she starts back with that critical stance. You might even find a lighthearted way to tease her about it a little if she starts to do it again. It may lighten the mood and diffuse some of the heat.
