I think I'm going to take her to the museum. There's a big dinosaur exhibit. But still not sure what to do when she gets in. Maybe just popcorn and a board game. ?![]()
I have no idea what to do. Haha. She's 11, but a very mature 11. (academically) She's home schooled and at 11 is in the 8th grade. She's visiting from out of state to attend a science camp. I have to pick her up at the airport tomorrow night. I was thinking I could rent a movie but I don't even know what 11 year olds watch. She's still a kid socially, she's just advanced in school. So I don't think she'd be interested in Hanna MT or anything like that.
AaaahhhhHHhhhh!

Ha ha, sucked in... Baby sitter... lol... Well my Niece is very mature as well, 13, and started talking about her girlfriend and the problems they were having over a guy but she took a mature attitude, nearly blew my mind...
Good for you Science, Museums, match... Sounds good, don't go over board with the "board game" give her choices, she may actually want to watch a movie or something, ask her. In other words, give her choices, so feel like watching a movie, or i can beat the hel out of you in ........ or we can get fat together and go to McDonalds, what do you feel like...
If you give a few choices, regardless of academics, sometimes junk food wins, a laugh wins, or her academics wins, she's still a little girl who likes different things, she may actually be bored from all the academics she already does.
Have FUNNNNN.....

Do we not realise that in order to find a soul
It doesn't happen over night
if truth were to be told.
Like everything in life that's hard to achieve
you must believe!
