Thread: Need Quick fashion advice pls!

Hi all! I need some helpful advice. A friend's late night wedd is coming up next month. Well, I am only 4 ft 10" tall (or short!!), so I need advice on what kind (heavy/light garment) or color outfit I should wear to appear a little tall. I've read that its better I wear an outfit thats a single color from head to toe & open shoes instead of closed. I personally want to go in for a dark shaded gown with a scatter of sparkling tiny stones more on the border. Also my hair is thick, straight & black & little longer than shoulder lenght, should I tie it or leave it down? Please help before I make a clown of myself!! Thanks!

Make sure you wear really good heels
Something with stripes that flow vertically will make you look taller too...but not sure if that would be good for a Wedding...

I am quite short as well. The thing is. No matter what you wear people are going to kno that your short!! Can't hide it very well! Heels help but still not goin to be a secret that your short. Point is I think you should wear whatever you feel good in. Whatever makes you feel sexy and yourself. Stop worrying about what looks make you appear taller. Just because your little doesn't mean you can't look sexy as !!

Sounds like the darker colour would be a good bet....I would suggest that you try something with your hair that leaves at least some of it trailing down your back...to keep the illusion of a continuous line. Also...stand next to shorter people
