    Unhappy help!!!

    I want to dress better...
I mean I like the way I dress, its comfortable but thats just it! I think the sweatshirt and jeans are getting old, and I want to try something new. I generally like something hippie like, but to be honest I have no cloths like that anymore.
Can anyone make any suggestions? Perhaps give me some ideas as to where I can refill my wardrobe without losing that much money.

    Thank in advance

Did you catch my reply in the other thread?

In addition, if you study some fashion "concepts" a bit first, you won't have to spend a lot of money on a ton of clothes.

I used to make the mistake of going into a store and buying... a couple of shirts and that's it. And I would do this often, ending up spending a lot of money on very random clothes.

If you go in and get a complete outfit in one go, you'll get a lot more use out of it that way as you can wear it by itself or change it up with other pieces of other outfits you have at home.

Also, if you want to drastically change your wardrobe, I find that changing something else about you really helps push you in the right direction. Like getting a completely new haircut - we all feel awesome after a great haircut anyway. Or a dye job. Or some new eye shadow or what have you.

Maxi dresses! Suits most body shapes and sizes - if you dont like upper arms then a little shrug cardi. I love maxi dresses - covers a mulititude of sins!!

Its hard to change anything, because to be honest I'm usually pretty content with how I look.
I mean I never wear make up, and I don't really watch what I wear and sometimes I still manage to feel beautiful... I guess I just wish that it was more often.
However, getting a new hair cut does sound appealing. Although I'm afraid that if I cut my hair now it will never be as long as it is now (and its not that long at all anymore)

    Eh I don't know
    I'm just majorly confused

Put your hair down, keep growing it, but add some highlights, it's girly and femine and will make you feel different, whilst still keeping what you like, long hair.

Hippy? Goodwill stores, second hand shops, you can always cut away as well, and sew the bottom of things, make dresses into tops or cut down the middle and make a jacket by placing buttons.

Jeans and tops, longer tops, long hair with highlights, is still casual whilst also being different and adding in femininity

Hmm, I find that what most people are missing in their wardrobes that makes a world of difference, is the little accessories clothes, like vests, cardigans, layerable tanks and tees. Most people are just shirt, pants, shoes, out the door, jacket/coat if it's cold, but no fashion jackets. Like I have this adorable three courter length sleeve, half jacket (comes up really high, like hangs around my ribs) it's a black jean and I love wearing it with just about any shirt that needs a little sumin-sumin.

Jewelry is also a great way to spice up clothes. Make sure you have a wide variety of jewelry, so not all your shirts have to have some extravagant design, instead you can wear a really long necklace. Gold and silver stuff is nice, but I personally feel it's limiting, it doesn't always contribute to your outfit. Find stuff of different materials, wood, glass, rope braiding, and so forth.
