I'm 4'9 and weigh about 138, so I understand your problem. What I normally try and do is go shop, buy pants that look good and are comfratable. Once you have the jeans, if you really want to them in a few days, you can always get them hemmed. It does cost a little extra, but it helps in the long run. Don't worry about shopping in the girls section! No-one will judge you! Like janie said, don't "stuff" yourself or try to put on extra weight to fit into clothes. It doesn't look right or healthy.

Try Express. I went the other night and did well with jeans among other things.

I think it's hard to find pants that fit well in general. Your tailor can be your best friend; it's well worth the money to have clothing that fits well.

Have you tried Kohls? My best friend is almost exactly your size and a Junior size 0 runs alittle small which fits her perfectly. Their clothes are in style and always on sale. Best of luck to you.

You can go for branded clothes and before buying, try out the clothes carefully.

I am 5' and have all my pants hemmed if I get them from typical stores.
Try the jeans in the old navy girls section. When I worked in a restaurant, they were the cheapest I could find and usually on clearance twice a year.
Ann Taylor is a bit spendy, but she has pants/jeans/shorts as well that I did not have to have tailored.
