A Doctor would tell you throw them away, or only wear them for "special occasions" if you know what I mean and that's when you are older Luci

Think about it.. There is only an inch or two about them, they rub back and forth, up and down as you wear them, constantly pulling them out of your um behind, whilst walking...

So what do you think is happening as far as bacteria goes? From um one end to the other?

Your undergarments are meant to be a private matter in any event for the most part, so winter, spring, summer, autumn they should be "under" your clothes so it doesn't matter when/where you wear them, if you are referring to a beach? Summer? He11 no...............

I don't see anything wrong with them either.

Most people who wear them, don't ever pull them out of their behind (except when using the washroom). So if your thong is sitting there, and your not picking at it -- no transferring of bacteria. If you pick at it, first off, its not all that ladylike or attractive and then it is a little gross so you probably shouldn't bother wearing them.

And if you do get that itch to pick -- just wash your hands after.

Actually, they are cute, but I can tell you, BV is known to be the main cause from wearing G-Strings, they do move. This was a clinical report from over the World by Doctors. Picking at them is one thing that was another issue

I personally don't see how issues arise if there isn't "picking". Therefore, if you either wash your hands after picking or just don't pick at it... it shouldn't be an issue. lol. All about good hygiene!

And as far as vaginal issues... again... as long as you keep clean (be excessively clean about rear end hygiene when you wear thongs), and not wear them too long and ensure they are clean --- there shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Well I tried one on for the first time today and don’t think it’s a look I can pull off. I’ve not got the bum or body for one and I felt really self conscious of myself, even though I wasn’t even out in public….

Don't wear something that doesn't make you feel good.

Just because some people say its sexy or whatever, if you don't feel sexy in it --- you won't look sexy.

I don't find thongs all that awesome for me either (I do have a few, and they are fine... but usually they are worn with dress pants so I don't get panty lines). I like booty shorts or boy shorts.

Just stick with what makes you feel good.

Victoria Secret has a style called Cheeky, You can get it in lace if you want to kick the sex appeal up a notch.
It is low cut and shows some cheek just like a thong, but gives you some coverage for the pink bits in the front.

Also check out the style called "Tanga" and "Hiphugger", but are flattering without the wedge/hygiene risk factor.

I love wearing thongs, to be honest! I find them really comfortable and they don't make me feel frumpy (weird word to be using for me considering I'm only a teen...) like other underwear can sometimes. As long as they're not painfully tight or anything and they're a soft texture, then I'm fine.

The most important thing is that you're comfy. You want to feel good, yes, but comfort is key. The rest will follow.
