Thumbs up

I agree that the boot cuts are not looking as good these days. The times Ive worn mine lately, I agree, looked funny. I havent worn them since last spring/winter.
The skinny jeans make you look long and lean, as long as you have a good fit, a good jean and are somewhat slender. If youre not "perfect", (seriously who is?) but youre slim, this style can be very lengthening and sexy!
I bought a pair of Lucky Brand last year and on my tall and slender, but imperfect figure, they looked hot! Go with a dark color if you need to.

On guys.. Im def into the music scene, so I can appreciate this style, however I dont find it sexy. I think if that is youre "thing" then roll with it.

i agree about using a darker color- it seems to trim up a person's figure a bit. as for boys in the music scene some of them look so FUNNY in our jeans! lol, my friend chris always insisted on wearing his little sister's tight jeans ON STAGE! and when he'd turn to the side and scream his crack would show for the rest of the night unless he pulled his pants up (which never happened.) then again i would have made fun of him if his boxers were showing just as much as i did over his butt crack. lol

I like to wear skinny jeans when I wear boots so the jeans don't bunch in my boots!! Or when I wear a loose fitting shirt skinny jeans look cute.

The thing about it is this: I have wide hips and some saddlebags going. I'm not overweight, it's just that my hips and thighs are big. The problem is that I HATE any other type of pant style, especially flare leg, and the skinny leg is the only thing that really works with the style of clothing I wear. I wear skirts and dresses mostly anyway, but I decided that there's nothing wrong with having big hips and I might as well wear what I like.
Bearing that in mind, I found a hideous pair of purple skinny jeans at Ross and bought them specifically because they're ugly.
