Ok, where to start....

Here's some general guidelines to get you started.
(not sure if you work or stay at home but I'll write this as if you are at home)

Take your baby out for walks as much as possible. If you can fit a 15-20 minute walk in in the morning and one in the evening that would be a good start. When she's down for a nap (if you have the energy) pop in an aerobics video and get a 20-30 minute workout in.

Breakfast ideas:
1. Whole wheat toast, two eggs and a side of fruit (apple slices, strawberries, a banana etc)
2. Oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts with a glass of milk
3. Lowfat yogurt with a banana and some whole grain cereal on top

Lunch:
1. Tuna salad on whole wheat toast with some broccoli and carrots on the side.
2. Spinach salad with some grilled chicken

Healthy snacks:
String cheese and an apple
Granola bar and some veggies with a bit of salad dressing
Yougurt
Fruit

Dinner:
Divide your plate into 3rds and have 1/3 vegetables 1/3 grains (rice, etc) and 1/3 protein (lean: fish, chicken, turkey)

Read food lables!!! I can't stress that enough. Lots of fresh foods. Try to avoid packaged stuff.
Walk as many places as you can. If you just need to run to the store for a couple of things...take a back pack and the stroller and walk there.

good luck
