Hi! I love running, but I often suffer from sore muscles. Now I just heard that taking a bath in epsom salt should be very helpful to relax my muscles. So my question is: what is the best product out there? So many Epsom salt and so much variety in prices. Can somebody weigh in? Thanks, Barbara

I have no idea why it works, but it does. The box that I get is dark blue? Sorry that's all I can tell you and it only costs around $3.00 (Australian)...
If there are more expensive brands, i would hazzed at a guess that it's just marketing, bigger Companies... If you read what it consists of on the "blue" box say, and a more expensive one, I am pretty sure that they will tell a simular story... CW

Soaking the Magnesium Sulfate, alleviates and helps to prevent and to reduce muscle pain and spasms. And it is also essential for energy production and athletic performance, because it helps to detox your body. I use the REV. epsom salt. It's relatively new, but they have it in nearly every CVS. To my experience (I also tried the cheap ones), REV has the best formula. And you can choose bw 3 different types - for moms, families and athletes. Just try and good luck, M.

Last week I strained my ankle while running, and went to Walgreens to get a bandage to wrap it up. In that same section, I noticed PEPSOM Sports, that is an epsom based soaking aid, and tried soaking my ankle in it when I got home. I remembered that my running coach used to make up something with Epsom salt, so it sounded good ( and this stuff looks like it has some pro sports endorsements and its minty too so it feels good.) Anyhow, just wanted anyone interested, to know that this stuff works! I don't know if it was just because I expected it to, but my ankle felt much better and I'm back to running again, which is what I love!
