Default Awesome website for personalized fitness

Hello all,
I am new to the forums but would just like to share a website my friend has turned me onto. It's called Home Page and it provides exercises for whatever goals you have. My friend has lost 12 pounds so far in just 4 weeks. I asked for a program that would tone because I'm already at a healthy weight. Anyways, I was reading some of the threads and I thought this might help some of you. See you around.

Default Be careful with websites offering personal training online too.

I know that online personal training might sound ideal, but it has one really large major disadvantage. Anyone getting proper personal training really needs to be actually seen by the trainer 'in the flesh' to make absolutely sure that they're physically ok to go ahead.

Truly advanced personal trainers actually fully test their clients ranges of motion before they do any exercise at all, to make sure that any exercise they give their clients is precisely right for the way their unique bodies function and move, but that sort of service is only available from advanced personal trainers. That level of Personal Trainer is qualified way beyond the general personal trainer training courses and unfortunately, there's very few of them around.

So just imagine that you're going ahead with your online personal training, but you have a small, yet significant postural problem you might not even be particularly aware of. So the online personal trainer (from what could be literally thousands of miles away) goes ahead and gives you exercises to do, ones that he/she really has no idea as to if they will improve or escalate that subtle problem.

How could they?...They've never set eyes on you and haven't a clue as to how you personally move and adjust when you're in motion, exercising. So please be very careful with those sites and think long and hard before you follow any advice given on them, no matter how impressive sounding.

Best bet is to and get yourself thoroughly checked out physically somewhere local, before you start any online personal training with anyone and even then, if you start to suffer any untoward actual pain (not an exercise work 'ache' though) stop what you're doing and re-assess your situation, just to be wholly on the safe side.

You see, it's a real shame, as although it's great the weight loss was achieved; such results could be at the cost of other 'hidden' problems ( orthopaedic or muscular) undetected at first, but set in motion as a result of this form of distant tuition, sent from anywhere in the world.

So again, if you're going to go with something like that, please play it 100% safe and get a thorough check up done first, before getting stuck in...... and best of luck in getting safe, progressive results.
