Smile Stairclimber, how long & at what level?

I've had a StairMaster Stairclimber for about 10 years now and have done it off and on for those 10 yrs.
I just started exercising again last Wednesday Jan. 28th after a 3 month lazy period. I'm doing it for 30 mins a day with another 30 mins of aerobic/dancing afterward.
I'm 41 {or will be on Feb. 7th} I'm 5'5" and wiegh 145/150lbs Yuukk! I want to get to 125/130lbs. Not really given myself a time period to get there but the sooner the better.
I've started taking B-12 1,000 mg once a day a about a week or so ago and just started taking Emergen-C today twice a day. Also taking a daily multi vitamin.
My question is: How long should I be on the stairclimber?
And at what level, 1 through 9. And what workout option, fat burner, calorie burner or speed interval?
It has a HR monitor on it but I don't have the connection for it so I can't monitor myself that way.
Thanks, Jeana.

All of those things will depend on your current fitness level. The best thing for you would be to either get the HR attachment or find a way to monitor it yourself (count your heartbeats for 15 seconds, then multiply by four.)
Take it easy on yourself. If you don't overwork your body, you'll be more likely to stick with your plan.
