Default Thighs...

I have recently lost a lot of weight but my thighs don't appear to be cooperating, they are still quite squishy and lumpy.
Does anyone know how I can make my thighs firm so I can wear a skirt without embarressment?
Thank U

Exercise, exercise, exercise.

Sorry... It's fantastic to lose weight, you feel great, but unless you lose it to the bone, there will always be bits that don't feel/look right and you have to tone those up so that they do.

9 months ago I probably was at my best weight ever, and there was not an inch to look at anyway, felt fantastic, a little bit here and there, as weight goes and I am now noticing, little bits that I don't like, not vain but conscious I am who I am, but i know that by toning, stretching your leg 20 times to the right, and same for your left to the left up and down even whilst doing the dishes, twice a day as well as walking will tone that up more and more whilst losing the excess bit of fat that you still have, work on it and watch the difference.

Keep doing cardio to lose the fat. But you also need to build up the muscle. Add in squats and lunges every other day.

Definitely tone up the muscles as best you can. Squats and lunges are great for this. I also use one of those step machines and have aerobic fitness DVDs that incorporate a lot of the stretching exercises that will tone your thighs.

Running, swimming and trampolining is a really excellent form of exercise if you dont like to run etc, i usually put on my music really loud, get the little trampoline out and jump everywhere, 15 minutes later i havent realised how fast the time has gone and it really helps to lift the mood as well as shape the legs and it really does shape the legs. If you exercise to music you enjoy you will work twice as hard, or i seem to anyway.

I have actually noticed some changes in my thighes in one month. I started this walk/run/jog program. I get on the treadmill at least four times per week. i switch speeds and run until i get out of breath. i 30 minutes of running and walking will make a bug difference.
also there is this machine in the gym, its like a stair climber and a elliptical put together. going in reverse mode on stepping machines works miracles on the thighs. as much as my boyfriend loved my thighs before, hes going crazy over them now and will not stop touching them.

Check out Classical Stretch to build long lean muscle. Her programs are excellent.
