It's that time of the year!
Here we go again, it's that time of the year!! For those of you who have actually gotten on your treadmill these past couple of months...CONGRATS! For everyone who has started eaing healthy this year....AWESOME! I, on the other hand, am having a tough time in the fitness category this year! Should I diet, or should I exercise?? Well, I honestly don't have too much time to exercise...who does anyway?! So, I am trying to watch what I eat. Although I may not eat very much throughout the day, I have trouble staying away from those high fat snacks! Brownies, ice cream, YUM! I guess I have lost a couple of pounds so far, but how do I make this more effective? How do I stay away from those high calorie snacks?!

snack on vegies and drink a TON of water and you'll feel bloated but at least you wont be consuming fat!

Stop tempting yourself! Do not buy them, do not even consider getting them from a vending machine. They are off limits, you are not allowed. Stop buying them for the kids, make things instead. Look online for healthy snack recipes if the kids complain, or make them cakes or cupcakes, if you don't enjoy eating those as much. I'm 21, but i have 2 little sisters that need their sugar when they get home, but at the same time, my mom wants my dad to lose weight, and he'll eat whatever she buys. So, instead of buying oreos at the store, she makes low fat cakes or something, which is fine with me, because cake is too hard to snack on for me, so i don't eat it, and the girls love it, and my dad can have a little, because it's not as fatty.
I just don't allow the option of having goodies, i eat apples, lots and lots of them. I also have trouble keeping regular (if you know what i mean), and if i don't get my apple a day, i suffer for it for the next couple days, so that's one reason that makes me eat healthy foods instead. Hope this helps.

Oh, and lots of water. Whenever i get hungry, i drink lots, just to make sure i'm not thirsty before i go eating soemthing. Same thing during meals, i drink after every bite. I tend to get hungrier as i eat, but it's only that i get thirsty, so drinking a lot of water during and between meals ensures i don't eat instead of drink.
