Default workout & diet plans?

I've decided it's time to stop being lazy and start doing something, but I'm clueless about making my own workout and diet plans.

I'm not overweight by any means... 5'2" and about 125 lbs. But I really want to firm up and narrow down, and keep it that way. Be very lean but not grossly skinny. I do know that cardio is a big deal, and my mother is actually giving me her treadmill (since it'll be winter soon and going for walks outside when it's freezing just isn't worth it to me).

But does anyone know a good workout plan other than that? I have 5 lb. weights and I know how to use them, but not in a way that would help me whittle down. I also need a good diet plan. I don't eat gross foods, but I'm not a health nut either.

Anyone know anything on how to help out?

This all depends.....what are you willing to do? Cardio and weights? How stringent are you willing to be with your diet?

At your proportions, you won't have to do much to see results.

I can tell you exactly what to do...it's just a matter of whether you find it agreeable or not.

Feel free to PM me.

I eat just about anything, so I'm sure I won't have any problems with the diet plan. It's not so much about what to get for food, it's about the actual diet plan. When it comes to that I like knowing when to eat what and have some kind of guideline.

I'll definitely PM you in a little bit.

Use him... He's kinda smart sometimes. He's helped me out a lot with ideas and just answering questions.

Its just that I know about all the magical diet pills that no one else knows about.

MAking diet plan is easy but follow it is very hard.So if you are over weight and go for slim and fit body at instant then you can try fat reduction or body contouring.

Default Is there help for me?

I guess I should start at the beginning, I am a 57yr. young female, who was a yo-yo dieter for most of my adult life until now, my doctor said "STOP". I've done it all, any diet you can think of. A year and a half ago I had major back surgery with a cage 2 plastic discs...etc. (full of steroids then, not now!) Finally I am near normal, or what I was except for weight. I am 5'9" 245 lbs. Disgusting.... Anyway, I'm retired have joined a gym and walk 3 -4 days a week. I have printed out workout routines from freetrainer.com (with my back in mind) but I know eating right is important. What I need is a guideline plan for nutrition with my workout plan so I can lose this weight once and for all. I am of the generation who really didn't know about exercise and it's importance back then, hence the yo-yo dieting. If there is someone who could get me on track I would be forever grateful. The gym I go to of course has personal nutrition and trainers for a BIG fee, and being retired it's just not in my budget! Please help!

Glitter! You sound fairly average in terms of your statistics but if you want to get in shape try Trainerpack workouts. I've been using them and don't need much equipment.
Also they are free
If that doesn't workout then try spinning!!!!!!! I've been sticking to that!
