Hello guys !
I'm new here. I've a problem wih my boyfriend. He always tell me that I should loose weight. I'm about 1.60 m and I'm 50kg. All men around me tell that I'm ok and I should take 2 more kg to be perfect. What should I do ? thank u |

Your boyfriend is being judgemental and petty. You do not, under any circumstances, need to lose any weight at all. He is trying to make you into his "ideal" but no such body exists and it is not in your best interest to compromise your health so he can get his jollies.
By my calculations (for those of us who don't use metric) you are 5'3" and 110 lbs. By most medical standards you are actually slightly UNDERWEIGHT. It sounds like your boyfriend may be more occupied with your body than your character. Please do not let him influence your self worth. You should not feel that you are not good enough (physically or otherwise) for someone. The person you are with should love you for who you are.

Hun, I'm 5 foot 8, around 70 kilos. Which is the correct weight for my height, I have dropped below 64 and not good... gaunt and ahhhh...
Please don't let people convince you to look like some hagged woman, even today's models are putting on the weight, vulumptous is sexy anyway, gaunt isn't.. Regardless as KMonte has stated, it's "YOUR" body, no one has the right to mould you into their visions... What else does he tell you you should and shouldn't do? Think about it.... 50 kilos for your height is a tad underweight, ... CW

He has not right to tell you how you should look. You are perfect the way you are. And how dare he make you feel inadequate. You deserve better than that. You definitely don't need to lose weight, you just need to be accepting of you and your body.

For what it's worth, I'll give you a man's view of things.
Physical attraction is very high on my- and most other men's- lists of what we find desirable. We place a lot of emphasis on this. I work very hard to keep myself looking fit and attractive for my significant other and I expect her to do the same. As a result, we workout together every day. That being said, 5'3" and 110 sounds lovely. However, even at lower weights, a body can still be overfat. Not saying you are at all, so please don't assume that. Think about it. If you can express your preferences, which you may have already done, or will probably do so one day, he should be able to as well. There is a way to be tactful about almost everything....if he wasn't, then there are no excuses for his behavior. Just some things to think about.
