    Hello,

I met my girlfriend johanna in the spring of '04. When we met i was 5'10 and 190# and she was 5'4 and maybe a size 12 (curvy hips not fat). Well as the years went by she went from curvy to heavy and of course id never ask a girl her weight lol but she was up to a size 18 a couple years ago (from relationship comfort and eating out i guess).

In the last 2 years shes gone down to a size 14 taking a judo class and is really loving it. Recently she achieved her orange (i think) belt and is asking me to peel myself away from the videogames and join her in the class. She has joked that since shes a thicker girl and an orange belt she might be able to throw me around in the near future. I know shes just joking in good fun, but does an orange belt really know that much about judo? Could my girlfriend kick my butt in sparring if I signup for this class??

Why not just sign up for fun and see. My boyfriend and I met in boxing club and now we box together, ski together and now play hockey. I can honestly say that shared interested and activities that we enjoy and make us healthier, happier and ultimately better human beings is the glue that holds our relationship together.

Good for her! I'm happy she's found something she loves that is active and fun.
