    Hello all,

I hope someone can help me. I weigh 12.4. I am 5.3 in height. I have a treadmill which I have started using with the last few weeks. I have been building up gradually to walking 2 miles. My problem is I only do it once a week now because I have aching in my legs, from my waist to my toes and I am so, so tired and sleepy for the rest of the week. I am on an inhaler and I wonder is it something to do with oxygen. I eat very carefully so all thats left to shift the weight is exercise and now that seems to be going wrong. I dont sit all day, I am not very active but then again I am always on the go.

It could be that you are iron or vitamin B deficient. Or could just be that you're really out of shape and just getting back at it. If you have the means to get a blood profile done, that might be a good idea.

Also, I know when I exercise alot, the days that I don't, I feel really tired and actually just getting up and going to the gym or going for a run is what I need to give me the energy. So maybe try adding a couple of days in the week where you just hop on and do a brisk mile.

Try massaging your legs and feet at night as well.

All athletes get tired and sore when they they train and compete. Make sure that you are not overdoing it. Take a high quality antioxdant/multimineral supplements. Drink plenty of water. And for muscle pain be sure to take a high quality calcium/magnesium supplement which may help with the contraction and expansion of your muscles. Another thing to look for is a healthy energy drink to give yourself a boost. Good luck!
