I know how you feel. I've tried for years and finally resigned to just go when I have the motivation. When you feel it, just put your shoes on and get out there for a quick jog. It's so easy to always say, oh- I'll go in the morning.
I don't exercise, but I have really been wanting to take up running. In the evenings when my day is finally winding down and I'm starting to relax, I get super motivated and excited and think to myself "Tomorrow I'm going to go for a run!" and then when I wake up the next morning I can't get myself to do it!
How can I get the previous night's motivation to last until the next morning?

Start with a little walk then run. Soot In the evening to start with then when u r in a pattern try and transfer it to the morning
Yeah, maybe I should just start by getting out there when I actually do have the motivation. I just feel weird running in the dark. lol. It gets dark here at like 5:30.
You should just make yourself get up & do it in the morning whether you feel like it or not. After a couple days of making yourself do it then it will just come natural. I understand about running in the dark because of safety reasons...maybe find a friend who would be willing to go out with you in the evenings.
First you have to develop self confidence.
Have strong promise with yourself for the next morning and try to do it at any cost.
