I run about 5-6 miles 4-5 days a week. Just about every time I run, I break into

this heavy drenching sweat. By the time I'm done my fitness attire is

completely soaked like I jumped in a pool or something. I know sweating is the

name of the game , but I don't think the amount I sweat is normal. I notice

other people at my gym that workout as hard as I do never seem to sweat

nearly as much as me. Is this something I should be concerned about? Or am

I worrying needlessly? As a woman I find it a little embarrassing to be

    dripping in so much sweat.

Hey sweets. You should be worried if you don't sweat at all! Every person sweats differently. For example, when I exercise, the main areas that I sweat are my stomach and the backs of my thighs. I'm not a forehead sweater. My husband sweats all over just from being outside on the heat with our dogs. I would just suggest towels and an extra set of clothing. Someone else may have further views on the subject though.

Back in my martial arts days, one of my training partners sweated profusely. After only 10 min of warmups, her back would be ringing wet and her feet would be drenched. You could actually see where she walked on the mat b-cause there would be a trail of wet footprints. She joked about it herself an it wasn't an issue. As MsM says - we all sweat differently, amounts and location of sweat glands vary widely... no biggie

It's just a personal thing. Some people sweat a lot, others hardly at all. But there's nothing wrong with it.

Sweating is a natural byproduct of the work out process... I too sweat A LOT! Just make sure that you stay hydrated and it shouldn't be a problem!!! (we do sweat out electrolytes, so you might want to find a safe way to replenish those as well)
    Thanks,
    Kendall

I wouldn't worry hun, just make sure to drink enough fluids to replenish what you lose when you work out.
