That all depends on what you are doing at the gym. Make sure you are getting all 3 categories in your workouts: cardio, strength training, and flexibility in order to see your results. It takes time but you should slowly start seeing improvementsIf you are trying to lose weight then remember it boils down to how many calories you are eating vs. how many calories you are burning total in a given day. Keep up the good work and you will see your changes!
