Default Exercise Question...

I've been going to the gym this year (I've lost 19 pounds so far!) and since I've been doing the elliptical machine, I've found that my feet go numb after a while. I've tried different tennis shoes that I have and it happens with all of them. After this happens, I will do the treadmill and I will get feeling back. Any suggestions?

I think you should go to the doctors to check it out. Your feet should not be numb after a work out.

Default numb feet on the eliptical

Mine go numb at about 40-45 minutes. It's like the last 15-20 minutes are agony, but I refuse to stop. Sometimes it helps if I switch directions (go backwards for a few minutes). Other times I try to put the weight on my heels instead of the pads of my feet for a few minutes. Let me know if you find any tricks that work too...

This may sound silly but MAYBE your shoes are tied to tight after working out for awhile, maybe try to loosen them after you start working out

Why not go to your gym instructor or any gym instructors available at your exercise place...They will be very willing to help you and explain what happen and what you should do.

Good Luck and May God Bless You!!!

I had a similar problem trying to walk in a 1/2 marathon. I was told that my shoes were too little and my arch was falling. I went to a wider shoe to let my feet relax. It has made a big difference
