Yea, we go out every day. Longest ride was the other day though with 12 miles (thats to and from our destination)
Hoping to go further as my legs get a bit stronger. I'm able to tackle hills so much better now than I used to be able to. Still gotta walk it up steep hills but then again so does my fiance who is a lot stronger than me

It works if you can keep it up, atleast losing some weight, if done irregularly might be a bit more tricky, regardless leg strength should increase afer half a year orso.

We go out everyday, or at least try to. At least once a week we take a break but we're out the very next day.

I'm having some serious knee pain right now.
Yesterday and today both it's felt like I can't go on anymore. It takes me forever to catch up to my fiance (even though he is nice enough to stop and wait for me) and right now it feels like i'm carrying around 20-30 pound weights on my legs. Should I break and ice them for a couple days maybe or just keep pushing on?

Ice after each ride and take a couple of tylenol.

Agree w/ ice and tylenol. Also you may want to have someone watch you as you ride - try to see if your are letting your knees splay out to the sides as you push down. Knees may be swelling painful just 'cause of the activity, and that should strengthen and go away over time. But your form of pedaling may be putting more stress on knees than necessary too. If you can find an experienced biker to watch and assist, that might help.

Good job, hun ! Keep it up!

How is your seat adjusted? When your foot is at the top of the stroke, your knee should not be more than 90°. If it is, your seat is too low and that can really take a toll on your knees.

Well with my seat to high it strains my knees even more than it does down low. I recently raised my seat up a bit but in the end had to move it back down because it was causing me problems. I never really watch what angle my knees go in, I just enjoy the ride. I actually raised my seat up two days ago when I started getting the pain I’m dealing with right now. My seat is high up enough that my back can be positioned straight up if it needs to be but it’s just causing me problems. I might actually take a break today, just getting into the shower a lone felt like I was lifting weights on my legs.

What would you guys recommend we eat after a ride?
We always go 30 minutes to an hour after we eat dinner when it's not so scorching hot but I find that when we're done riding, I am super hungry and always tired and sore. Any ideas? I know protien is said to help with muscle recovery and stuff but unless we get protein shakes or something, we really don't have anything else protein related.
