You're doing the right things, it's just going to take time. That's the one area that women's bodies seem to hang on to the longest. It's frustrating but you'll get there.
So I have been doing really well at staying motivated and going to the gym almost religiously but I am curious... I have been doing a lot of different leg routines, such as, squats, the treadmill, inner/outer thigh machine, the machine for the clutes, and the one for the calves. I am seeing results like being a little smaller (about 2in when I measure around my hips), smoother and being less jiggly but I still have the little extra "saddlebags" on my outer thighs that look like they come to a point. Am I doing something wrong when it comes to my workouts , should I try something different, am I just being impatient and should just keep up what I am doing?? Will I see these "pointy saddlebags" go away after a while? I haven't lost hope or anything, I just want to make sure I do the right workouts for what I am trying to acheive. Any suggestions? Thanks![]()

Awesome! Thank you...I was pretty sure it was just me being impatient but at the same time if I needed to alter what I was doing I wanted to know now so I could adjust my workouts. I am so happy. I have lost about 10lbs since I joined this site and I am seeing great results. I am gonna keep up with what I am doing since it seems to be working, patience really is the key for success!!!![]()
Wonderful! Keep it up.
Have you ever tried pilates? There are some nice videos on youtube with workouts targeting certain areas. The butt/thigh ones are my favorite. You really feel a burn right away.
Mes_T...I have not but, my fiance and are going to go get me a pilates mat and starter DVD tomorrow. I have an 8lbs medicine ball and a resistant band so I thought why not add pilates to my at home routines on those days when there is no way I would have time to get ready, drive to and from the gym and then get ready for the many other ventures I have for the day! I am going to try it out the second we get home from the store. Is there pilates DVDs that target specific areas or should I just get a basic beginners one???
I'd go for one that targets if you could only choose one, because you have a specific goal of toning your thighs. Have a google search on the most popular/most effective pilates DVDs so you can get a sense of which ones to go for and which would be a waste of money.
Also, you might wanna consider joining a pilates class. They can be QUITE a workout, so you might end up going to the gym less.
