Just add in a couple of cardio days a week. You still need that to stay in shape. You don't have to go all out tri training cardio but a 30 minute run 3x a week would help keep the fat off.
So, I this year I trained for a triathalon in which I focused mainly on endurance cardio and lost a lot of muscle, how ever I was very lean. After the tri-, I decided to back off the cardio and focus mainly on strength training and recovering my muscles. But here is the thing- I am building muscle but also a lot of body fat that was not there! My weight is still the same (140) my body fat percentage is still the same (22%) but my clothes are tighter and people keep asking me if I am still exercising (tactful, I know) and I have handfuls of fat on my legs, especially my butt and hips. Should I stop weight training? I am so sadd that I worked so hard and now I am roly poly again. Any advice?

definately you can't back off the cardio! I found that I can back off cardio and just do weights if I really nail my diet down otherwise I just end up getting fat!
