i have been going to ballys for like a few months

and usually i do cardio but i have been seeing some guy in the weight section ppicking up weight from the ground

it looked like 350 pounds and he lifted it ten times! (he looks like jude law too)

    anyways

it motivated me to get back my beach body even more so than i do now. i have just been trying to tone up and i do the hip abducters, db curls, leg press, db swings and pushups (on my knees lol)

i usually only work out for 25-30 minutes because i don't want to over train atleast thats what a guy from gnc told me

i do really light weight maybe 1-2 sets and 20 reps

is that good ? what else should i do ?

hey. my friend in real life does barbell snatches in the gym. all you do is hold the weight above your head and I think it will tone your arms lol. good luck with your future endeavors.

a good brisk 1/2 hour walk will firm your legs and give you energy

I'd say light weights are okay but make sure that toward the ends of the set that your arms are getting tired (like that last 2-3 are really hard to do) If not, you might be using weights that are too light. I wouldn't worry too much about "bulking" up. As long as you are doing cardio to burn off the fact and not doing crazy weight training, you aren't going to look like you belong in a body building competition, I promise.

I agree with Dr. M too. You can get a lot of good workouts on your legs by walking/running/stair climber. You might also search for some women's upper body exercises to mix it up a bit. If you're at a gym there should be tons of both free weights and machines. You might even consider a few sessions with a personal trainer to get some new exercises or take a class like Body Pump or something similar
