Anybody have a pair? I went and bought a pair today and I'm anxious to try them out tomorrow during my run, I will say they are so freaking comfortable though and I HATE wearing shoes.

All the reviews that I've read have been stellar, so I thought, hey, why not. Hubby got a pair too, so we'll see. If you wear them, let me know how you like or dislike them.

Yeah... We'll see, they are crazy comfy. The book that comes with them says to ease yourself into wearing them but that you'll find yourself using different muscles.

So, what did you think of those for running? I hear they are super nice to wear, but I don't know anyone who ever wore them running?

I wore them last night when we were out and about just to get used to them and LOVED them. But I'm an anti shoe person, I only where shoes to work out or to run errands around town and 99% of the time, I'm in flip flops when I am wearing shoes, so these are like heaven sent for me.

Unfortunately, it has been pouring all day here, so haven't gone outside to run. I'm patiently waiting though, considering wearing them on the treadmill today anyways.

Yeah - they only recommend you wear them for an hour or two for the first couple of weeks and take it easy until you are used to them. Not sure if I will trail run in them, but I'll definitely run on pavement/sidewalks with them.

Thanks for the feedback. When I get them, I would definitely start slow. I think I would be afraid of the lack of cushioning! Problems with shins, knees... if I went to far/long in them!

You need to read up on barefoot running. All that cushioning is what messes you up. You have different stride when you run minimalist or barefoot. Think about it, a supported muscle is a weak muscle. 805 of runners are injured each year and most of those are because of the over cushioned, over supported shoes. Humans are designed to run and not in shoes.

Interesting. It just seems like a scary jump! I have injuries, but not sure I can say they are from running with shoes! I know I have less knee/hip problems when I got proper shoes!
